UN Global Compact

In its activity Burda Media Ukraine completely observes the principles of the Global Compact, focusing its activity on the implementation of three of them, namely: ensuring the transfer to rational models of consumption and production, ensuring healthy way of life and supporting the well-being of everyone of any age, ensuring the gender equality and expansion of rights and opportunities of all women and girls.
Burda Media Ukraine is the largest media holding with over 23 years of media expertise, which includes six business units for support and development of media products and marketing solutions. The monthly audience of the editions of the holding is 3.5 million people.

The company implements the sustainable policy and does its best to reduce the indicators of carbon footprint of its production and improve the climate change indicators.
For this purpose, Burda Media Ukraine is the first publishing house in the country which signed the UN Global Compact, as a result of which the stable development strategy is going to be created and introduced to the media company. These significant changes continue the global sustainable initiatives, which are inevitable in the global context.

For 23 years, the Burda Media Ukraine Company has been supporting reduction of using paper during its manufacturing processes; it transferred to the remote access software for the employees completely, which allowed reduce the indicators of the carbon footprint of the mass media production and cooperate with experts all over Ukraine. It created the PDF analogues of the printed versions of magazines of the Burda Media Ukraine holding which may be ordered.

In modern conditions, we are recording the environmental crimes of russia against Ukraine and spread them not only in Ukrainian-language, but in global media space as well.
